Obtain a Sworn Translation
We will require the original documents or certified copies of the original documents to be sent to us. This can be done via registered post or courier. We will then provide the sworn translation in hard copy and send the sworn translation back to you via registered post or courier.
Electronic copies can also be provided to you whilst you wait for the hard copy to arrive.
Every page will be stamped with an official sworn translator’s stamp and will also contain a certification that the translation is a true translation of the original, dated and signed by the sworn translator.
Quotations on translations are free of charge. Please make use of our Get a Quote form, provide us with the documentation in soft format to be translated and we will supply you with a quotation.
To the left is a list of the documents we usually translate, however, the list is only a small selection of the variety of work our sworn translators can provide.
Translation Fees
Our translation fees vary from document to document. Normal certificates, like for instance birth certificates, driver’s licences or certificates of conduct are charged at R 180,00 per document. Agreements, contracts and court documents are usually charged on a basis of R 1,00 per word. This can also vary from document to document, depending on the complexity and time spent not only on the translation, but also the compliance with formalities of the document, that by sworn translation regulations have to be applied.
The sworn translation certificate is charged at R 140,00 per certification.
Our post and petties are normally charged at R 50,00, including emails, telephone calls and copies and the like.
The transportation of documents does not fall within our services, is not included in our fees and can be agreed upon individually. Any courier costs that might arise, will be borne by our clients.

We specialise in providing sworn translations of legal documents, certificates (birth, death, marriage, divorce, etc.), driver’s licenses and agreements or contracts from English to German, German to English, Afrikaans to German, German to Afrikaans, Afrikaans to English and English to Afrikaans.
We can also provide general translations of any documents that do not require a sworn translation where the function of the translation is more of a communicative function than that of the legal purpose for which a sworn translation is required.
We are enrolled as sworn translators by the Western Cape High Court of South Africa but also operate nationally. It is our priority to act according to our oath and to translate documents to the utmost correctness of the text provided to us.
Our experienced sworn translators have lived and worked in Germany, Namibia and South Africa in the legal offices of several attorneys and have gained knowledge of the legal systems in all three these countries.
We also act as Commissioner of Oaths if needed, which services are free of charge. Originals have to be provided to have a document commissioned as a true copy of the original.
